The Korea Maritime Week began in 2007 as the “Seoul International Maritime Forum” and has since become the Republic of Korea’s leading international maritime event, providing a platform for in-depth discussions on current maritime issues.

 In 2025, Korea Maritime Week will be held under the theme "The Beginning of Transition: New Opportunity, New Ocean.“ The event will feature 15 maritime-related events organized by 11 different organizations, including a High-Level Conference and the Global Advanced Marine Mobility Forum.
